Walka z nielegalnym kopiowaniem i udostępnianiem plików trwa nadal

Od jednego ISP na Śląsku otrzymaliśmy informację, że otrzymał on maila od paramount-picture@copyright-compliance.com z informacja, iż klient nielegalnie pobiera pliki poprzez program eMule. Co ciekawsze mail ten został podpisany cyfrowo (co może świadczyć o jego autentyczności), zaś poniżej dostępna jest jego pełna treść:

BayTSP, Inc. („BayTSP”) swears under penalty of perjury that Paramount Pictures Corporation („Paramount”) has authorized BayTSP to act as its agent for copyright infringement notification. BayTSP’s search of the protocol listed below has detected infringements of Paramount’s copyright interests on your IP addresses as detailed in the attached report.

BayTSP has reasonable good faith belief that use for the material in the manner complained of in the attached report is not authorized by Paramount, its agents, or the law. The information provided herein is accurate to the best of our knowledge. Therefore, this letter is an official notification under provisions of section 512(a) of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act to effect removal of the detected infringement listed in the attached report. Z informacji nadesłanych w mailu wnioskować można, że dane osób kopiujących nielegalne pliki doskonale są znane, zaś w przypadku zwrócenia się do administratora odpowiednich służb, które przedstawia pisemny nakaz, dane tych użytkowników muszą zostać przekazane.
